In our world females become victims of sexual abuse everyday. Adolescent females are not saved from these experiences, but with treatment they can become survivors instead of remaining victims.
At The Trauma Treatment Center we are pleased to offer a group for adolescent females who have been victims of sexual abuse. Group therapy is proven to be one of the most effective modes of treatment for adolescent sexual abuse victims. The group will allow girls to share similar experiences of victimization and help each other heal. The power of letting the inside out is realized in a supportive peer environment where girls understand that they are not alone in their experience and are freed from secret thoughts and feelings. Through the group process, each victim’s recovery is within her control.
If you or someone you know might be interested in participating in this group please contact Dr. Jane Cleveland at (303)589-4278. The group will be held on Mondays from 4-5pm and will begin on May 15th.
