The Professionals - Meet our Facilitators

Dr. Baker is a clinical psychologist with over twenty-three years of experience in the treatment of very young children. She is the author of three books on children and
trauma. Dr. Baker is the Director of the Trauma Treatment Center of Colorado. She has also been certified as a learning disability specialist and has diagnosed and taught children with sensory and communication disorders.

Kym Spring Thompson, received her doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver.Her doctoral research focused on early relationships and social-emotional development in infants and young children. She specializes in working with children with developmental delays and histories of trauma. Kym has more than 10 years of experience working with children and families as well as facilitating social skills groups for children.
